Bioinformatics Weather Station 3000X+
So the office where I live as a student is a walled, cubed area (pictured below). There are no windows. The classrooms where I have classes have no windows. It is often the case that we students decide to go outside to eat lunch in the sun only to find out that it's 30 degrees and raining. Enter the Bioinformatics Weather Station 3000X+. We put a camera on the 5th floor of a nearby building and focused it on the horizon. The we put a monitor on one of the servers and put the live feed from the camera on it. Up to the (5) minute weather is displayed next to the image feed. We put it on a high shelf and now know what it's like in the real world at all times.
